Systems Technician; Deployment Services (A+, Desktop) Title: Systems Technician
Location: Tampa, Florida (various client locations throughout Hillsborough County)
Job Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour (rate depends on experience) Required Skills (Please show a relevant working experience with the following on your resume): Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows XP Professional. Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office Applications Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware & software. Experience following written procedures to accomplish tasks. Exposure to Symantec Ghost or other imaging software. Ability to move equipment from our warehouse in Tampa to our client locations throughout Hillsborough County. Applicants must be able to lift 50lbs and process equipment into and out of our warehouse. (labor intensive at times) Must have reliable transportation, and a clean driving record?

Responsibilities: Applicants should have 2+ years experience working in the IT field and should be able to keep up with the dynamic and fast paced world of technology Applicants will be required to replace old systems (Desktops, Laptops, and Printers) with new in a variety of client environments. Candidates must be comfortable working constructively in a team environment, with the ability to facilitate client relationships and effectively interact with both management team members and customers. Responsible for the implementation, and troubleshooting of enterprise hardware, software, and networking systems. Responsible for receipt, imaging, testing, and integration products and systems. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Maintains systems to protect data from unauthorized users. Generates timelines and ensures projects meet the needs of the client organization. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others. Oversees implementation specialists who interface with the client organizations. A degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Individuals must also have previous experience providing desk side services to internal or external clients. Education/Experience: Two documented years of experience related to deployment services or desk side support.
