This position will be responsible for a broad range of tasks in a wide variety of areas of our business.
Executive Assistance:
Scheduling meetings/trips and maintaining the President's calendar
Making domestic and international travel arrangements and coordinating every aspect of the President's detailed travel itinerary
Strong client relations- correspondence with engineers/contractors/customers
Maintaining good contact with references/ thank you’s and gift cards
Personal assistance
Business development- i.e. incentive programs (county/state/federal)
Administration:
Backup receptionist
Courteously handle and/or redirects customer (and other--internal and external) calls as appropriate
Electronically collecting and compiling data to produce monthly reports
Preparing a variety of correspondence, often by self-composition
Creating presentations/graphics from handwritten notes or drawings
Opening and reviewing incoming correspondence, prioritizing, and handling as appropriate, while ensuring that any critical matters be handled promptly and accurately
File maintenance
HR Assistance:
Creating and posting ads
Reviewing resumes
Setting appointments
First round interviewing
Background/Reference checking
Required Abilities:
- must be experienced with multi-line phones (Cisco phone and PBX software a plus)
- working knowledge of ERP/CRM software is strongly desired
- must be very resourceful
- strong problem solving skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- ability to work independently
- basic knowledge of accounting procedures
- strong organizational skills
- strong written/oral communication skills
- strong attention to detail
4 year college degree preferred, but not required.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in engineering and/or manufacturing.

Work Environment: Small office in a business casual setting
